Let's take a look at my desktop background
respect of many things that accompany my daily life, I'm not so flexible. It is hard for me to throw away a lot of used items, which may be the staple of the ninth grade, found at the edges more or less promising graphic attempts and silly teacher sayings, or a veteran tealight holder that looks like now grottig, but has sentimental value. This is true but also on desktop backgrounds. This may be quite trivial matter, but sometimes I sit, and I am certainly not alone, every day several times on my laptop and at least two times, after booting and before shutting down, we just look at this background. I am also convinced that such a background a lot about us - who is not simply the Windows Teletubbie land-use, etc., who searches out his decorations already wisely.
My first background was deliberately chosen a wallpaper that Brian Molko, singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist, shows the band Placebo. On the significance of this band for me see here , here and here. I'm just thinking whether I am a bit ashamed for the subject, but no - exactly reflects this image back what I in 2003 and 2004, this band was so terrific and Others.
After the placebo-Wallpaper followed this watercolor of the lake. Painted it sometime around 2001 or 2002, my today is still very good friend Felix (pity that you paint any more, I still have a thick folder on my hard drive, with all of your windows, landscapes and parents * g *). This image remained until 2007, the desktop wallpaper on the computer in the apartment of my parents (thank God always in my room was) just a year since I have not lived with my parents.
When in 2006 my Laptop came into my life, I was selective in the choice of the background for a long time, the chosen subjects alternated weekly. Until I took this picture here. It has become far too cheesy for my taste, but I liked this artist (Dorian Cleavanger) very much. His other subjects very reminiscent of Luis Royo, which I liked in recent years for some reason quite. This image, however, has probably raised the Arielle fan in me (cf. this film segment ... me in the first stanza describes frightening good: D ... and of rocks, ROCKS!), And as unexcited mind, it is formidable.
then accompanied me from 2008 to early 2011 Dita. Dita, the ex-divine, until it is sold out for Vienna Opera Ball and Euro Vision Song Contest. She used at least in style advertised, eg for Cointreau their Lingerie Collection or Peta . This criticism does not alter the fact that this is for me one of the most beautiful wallpapers ever.
A few weeks ago but it was time for a digital change of scenery. The choice fell to me not difficult, because of a first-cream-like actress Natalie Portman, there are just too many great photos, as that one could get around it. The course also had to do with her Oscar-winning presence in Black Swan that I was indeed a little bit disappointed - but not his leading lady. I find this picture especially because of the Seventies atmosphere and the wrong pattern mix well, also the intergalactic headphones simply irresistible: D.
